"Leadership is not a possession, it's an action."

" 'As you sit here tonight in this general assembly hall - we ask you to think of one & only one commitment - go and make a difference, your voice can! ' - Mr. Karim Babay(YA Chair) to the youth during the Youth Assembly. I was so thrilled and honored to be a delegate for India for the 2018 YA sessions.

I would like to thank the Youth Assembly for giving me this valuable opportunity. The Event was Excellent!. I spoke to the people I admire, listened to their stories, exchanged the visions and information of the world and indeed discussed the future action plans.'As an individual, what can I do?' The boomerang question stuck in my mind for years! And this experience is helping me to figure out the answer.

Thanks to my family, mentors, friends and incredible inspirers around the world" - Akhil about his first journey at UN.

Young activists, delegates and government representatives came from all around the world to tell the world that there's hope for the change, to show the world the solutions that they have created, and to ask the world to stand with them. We are blessed to have been face-to-face witnessing the incredible potential of other young people have to offer here at the UN.

The inclusion of the young people should be in the center of the development and implementation of youth policies, strategies and action plans. I had the honor of representing my nation at UN ECOSOC Youth Forum, 2019. The ECOSOC, is a brief for United Nations Economic and Social Council. It is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, responsible for coordinating the economic, social, and related work.
