Young activists, delegates, and government representatives came from all around the world to tell the world that there's hope for change, show the world the solutions they have created, and ask the world to stand with them. We are blessed to have been face-to-face witnessing the incredible potential of other young people have to offer here at the UN.
The inclusion of young people should be at the center of youth policies, strategies, and action plans. I had the honor of representing my nation at the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum, 2019. The ECOSOC is brief for the United Nations Economic and Social Council. It is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, responsible for coordinating the economic, social, and related work.
